Welcome to Bawnz.com (“Bawnz,” “we,” “our,” or “the Platform”). Bawnz is a community marketplace that allows users to buy, sell, rent, swap, give away, and borrow items within the community.

By accessing or using Bawnz.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Bawnz

Bawnz provides an online platform where registered members can connect with other users to facilitate transactions involving personal items and resources.

Bawnz acts as a platform facilitator and does not own, sell, rent, lend, or distribute items listed by users unless explicitly stated. Transactions are primarily between users, and Bawnz provides tools, processes, and services intended to make these exchanges safer and more organized.

2. User Roles

2.1 Guests

Guests may browse available listings and access publicly available content on Bawnz.com.

Guests may not create listings, communicate with other users through protected platform features, transact, or access member-only services unless they register as a Bawnzer.

2.2 Registered Users (“Bawnzers”)

Registered users, referred to as “Bawnzers,” may participate as both:

Item Owners

• Users who list items or resources available for sale, rent, swap, giveaway, or borrowing.

Recipients / Buyers / Renters / Borrowers

• Users who purchase, rent, receive, swap for, or borrow items from other Bawnzers.

Bawnzers are responsible for ensuring that information provided in their profiles, listings, and transactions is accurate and lawful.

2.3 Moderators

Moderators are authorized community representatives who help maintain platform safety, review reports, assist users, and enforce Bawnz community standards.

Moderators do not become owners of listed items and are not parties to transactions unless explicitly authorized by Bawnz.

3. Types of Listings

Bawnzers may create different types of listings:

3.1 For Sale

Listings where an owner offers an item in exchange for payment.

Owners are responsible for:

• Providing accurate item descriptions and conditions.

• Disclosing defects, limitations, or important details.

• Ensuring they have the right to sell the item.

Buyers are responsible for:

• Reviewing listing details before purchase.

• Confirming item suitability.

• Completing payment and transaction arrangements.

3.2 For Rent

Listings where an owner allows temporary use of an item in exchange for rental payment.

Owners and renters should agree on:

• Rental duration.

• Return conditions.

• Possible deposits, damages, or replacement responsibilities.

• Pickup, delivery, or return arrangements.

Bawnz is not responsible for damage, loss, misuse, or failure to return rented items unless specifically covered by a separate Bawnz service or agreement.

3.3 For Swap

Listings where users exchange items with each other.

Users should ensure that:

• Items offered for swap are accurately represented.

• Both parties agree on the exchange terms.

• The transaction is completed fairly.

Once both parties accept a swap arrangement, users should coordinate fulfillment through Bawnz communication tools and update the transaction status accordingly.

3.4 For Giveaway

Listings where owners offer items free of charge.

Owners may choose available giveaway methods, including:

• First qualified recipient to claim.

• Selection through a raffle or scheduled draw.

• Owner’s discretion based on stated criteria.

Owners should clearly indicate giveaway rules to avoid misunderstandings.

3.5 Free to Borrow

Listings where owners allow community members to borrow items without payment.

Borrowers agree to:

• Use items responsibly.

• Return items within the agreed period.

• Return items in substantially the same condition, excluding reasonable wear and tear.

Owners may establish borrowing requirements or conditions.

4. User Responsibilities

All users agree to:

• Provide truthful and complete information.

• Respect other community members.

• Communicate honestly and responsibly.

• Avoid fraudulent, misleading, or harmful activities.

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Users are solely responsible for their interactions and agreements with other users.

5. Prohibited Listings and Activities

Users may not post listings or engage in activities involving:

• Illegal goods or services.

• Stolen property.

• Counterfeit items.

• Dangerous or prohibited items.

• Misleading descriptions or fraudulent offers.

• Harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive behavior.

• Attempts to bypass Bawnz fees or platform safeguards.

Bawnz reserves the right to remove prohibited listings and restrict accounts involved in violations.

6. Platform Fees

Bawnz may charge platform fees for successful transactions.

6.1 Sale and Rental Transactions

For successful sales and rental transactions, Bawnz may collect a small platform fee based on the applicable fee structure displayed during the transaction process.

Fees may be:

• A percentage of the transaction amount.

• A fixed service fee.

• Another amount disclosed before confirmation.

Bawnz may update fees from time to time with reasonable notice.

6.2 Swap, Giveaway, and Borrowing Transactions

Swap, giveaway, and borrowing transactions are free forever. No platform, service, or processing fees will be charged for these transaction types. Although no payment is required, small voluntary donations to support the Platform are very much welcome and appreciated.

7. Subscriptions and Premium Add-ons

Bawnz may offer subscription plans and premium features that provide additional benefits, which may include:

• Increased listing limits.

• Additional storage allocation.

• More uploaded images per listing.

• Enhanced visibility or promotional features.

• Additional seller or community tools.

Subscription benefits, pricing, limits, and features may vary by plan.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to the applicable subscription rules.

Bawnz reserves the right to modify subscription features while maintaining transparency regarding significant changes.

8. Listing Images and Content

Users grant Bawnz permission to store, display, and process uploaded listing information, images, and related content for operating and promoting the Platform.

Users must only upload images and content they own or have permission to use.

Bawnz may:

• Resize, optimize, or process uploaded images.

• Remove content that violates these Terms.

• Delete expired listings and associated images after a period determined by administrators.

Users may be notified of deletion policies through platform settings or announcements.

9. Listing Expiration and Removal

Listings may expire based on settings determined by Bawnz administrators.

Expired listings may:

• Become unavailable to the public.

• Be archived.

• Be permanently deleted after the administrator-defined retention period.

Associated images and uploaded files may also be deleted after expiration and retention periods.

Users are responsible for keeping copies of important information they wish to retain.

10. Reservations and Transaction Holds

Bawnz may provide reservation features that allow users to temporarily reserve items.

Reserved items may:

• Be marked unavailable.

• Prevent other users from purchasing, swapping, claiming, or renting during the reservation period.

• Automatically become available again when the reservation expires.

Reservation rules may vary depending on listing type and platform settings.

11. Communication and Off-Platform Transactions

Bawnz encourages users to complete transactions through available platform features to maintain safety, records, and community trust.

Users must not intentionally use Bawnz to discover other users and then avoid applicable platform fees by completing transactions entirely outside the Platform.

Bawnz may limit accounts that repeatedly attempt to bypass platform processes.

12. Payments

Payment processes may be handled through available Bawnz-supported payment methods or third-party payment providers.

Users acknowledge that:

• Payment processing may involve external providers.

• Payment delays, failures, or disputes may occur due to external factors.

• Users should verify transaction details before confirming payments.

13. Item Ownership and Condition

Bawnz does not guarantee:

• Ownership rights of listed items.

• Accuracy of user descriptions.

• Quality, condition, authenticity, or suitability of items.

Users must exercise reasonable judgment before completing transactions.

14. Disputes Between Users

Bawnz encourages users to resolve disputes respectfully through communication.

Bawnz may assist by:

• Reviewing reports.

• Providing transaction records when available.

• Taking appropriate action against policy violations.

However, Bawnz is generally not responsible for disputes, damages, losses, or disagreements between users.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Bawnz may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms.

• Abuse platform features.

• Engage in fraudulent activities.

• Harm the safety or trust of the community.

Users may request account closure according to available account settings.

16. Privacy

Bawnz collects and processes user information according to its Privacy Policy.

Users agree to provide necessary information to operate accounts, facilitate transactions, improve services, and maintain platform security.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bawnz shall not be responsible for:

• Losses arising from user-to-user transactions.

• Item damage, theft, loss, or misuse.

• Incorrect information provided by users.

• Service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond Bawnz’s control.

Users participate in transactions at their own discretion and responsibility.

18. Changes to These Terms

Bawnz may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Continued use of Bawnz.com after changes are published means users accept the updated Terms.
